Recurring
Gifts
Recurring gifts offer you the ability to provide dependable support throughout the year. By determining the amount, frequency (monthly or quarterly) and total number of payments, you are able to conveniently build a significant contribution through smaller installments.

Matching
Gifts
Make your gift to UC Merced go further with the help of your employer. If your employer sponsors a matching gift program, you can easily multiply the impact of your gift. When your charitable gift is matched, the amount goes toward the same program that your initial donation sponsored.
Participating companies will match employee gifts dollar for dollar. Some will even double or triple your gift. Many companies will also support charitable giving by employee's spouses, retirees, board members and others.

Tribute Gifts
A memorial gift can help perpetuate the values and ideals that guided someone's life. Honorary gifts commemorate a significant person or event. If you are interested in making a memorial or honorary gift, please make sure to provide the appropriate information when you make or submit your gift online.

Gifts-in-kind are items of tangible personal property or other physical assets which serve the educational mission of UC Merced.

Stocks/securities and
Electronic fund transfer (EFT)
To make a gift of stocks, securities or via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) to either the University of California, Merced or the UC Merced Foundation, please download and complete the Gift Transfer Notification Form below.
Banks and other financial institutions provide UC Merced with limited information about your stock, security or EFT gift. To ensure the prompt acknowledgement and disposition of your gift, please notify UC Merced Gifts Administration of your transfer by forwarding a copy of the Gift Transfer Notification Form found below. Gift Planning
Planned giving often allows you to make a larger philanthropic impact than you may have previously thought possible. Planned gifts are gift arrangements that have specific tax advantages and can include lifetime income to the donor and/or a loved one.
